See Adelaide & Beyond Day Tours and Charters

Flexible half-day and full-day tours that combine the highlights of the city centre, the historic German town of Hahndorf in the Adelaide Hills, wine tasting in gorgeous McLaren Vale and a visit to Adelaide’s favourite beach at Glenelg.  Small-groups only, with the option of staying longer in Hahndorf and Glenelg.

See Adelaide’s small-group touring itineraries offer an easy and flexible way to enjoy the best of Adelaide and its nearby regions.

Daily half-day tours depart every morning, seven days a week, for Adelaide City and Hahndorf and in the afternoon for McLaren Vale and Glenelg.

The morning tour is a discovery of the sights, sounds and history of the city of Adelaide and Hahndorf.  You will drive down Adelaide’s wide tree-lined boulevards, along the picturesque River Torrens and past the Adelaide Zoo. The summit of Mount Lofty is a great photo-stop on the way to the historic German village of Hahndorf and its bustling main street of boutique shops and galleries.

The afternoon tour features wine, food, beautiful scenery and beaches.  In McLaren Vale indulge yourself in wine tasting at three cellar doors, olive tasting at Lloyd Brothers, chocolate treats at the Fruchocs factory and more tasty samplings at the Almond Train.  Returning to Adelaide via the beautiful Glenelg beach there is an opportunity for a seaside stroll along the smooth white sand or out on the jetty.

For those who would like to stay longer in Hahndorf you can return to Adelaide on the public bus and if you fancy a view of the sunset over the Glenelg coastline the public tram will bring you conveniently back to the city centre.
