Take a journey of pleasure, discovery and intrigue in the magnificent surroundings of Hentley Farm. Two set-menu options work as a surprise on the day. The du jour menu (lunch only) and the discovery menu, both provide an inspirational connection with the vineyard, the wines, the farm and the Barossa.
The more recent history of the Hentley Farm vineyard is one of perfectly chosen resources and a careful, but unrelenting strategy of combining knowledge and flair to achieve the best possible results.
The Hentley Farm restaurant continues this history with a food philosophy that defines the connection between the estate vineyards and its wines, the farm’s uniquely blessed location on the banks of Greenock Creek and more broadly, the inspiration of the Barossa’s rich culinary diversity.
The original 1880s stables, meticulously restored and converted into a contemporary dining room, provides the beautiful setting restaurant setting. The food has a strong focus on harvesting produce from the farm, including foraged ingredients growing wild, as well as fruit vegetables and herbs from the garden bed and orchard. All the wines matched with the menus are from Hentley Farm’s award winning portfolio.
Guests choose from two set menus. The du jour menu offers four continually evolving and changing courses to give a snapshot of the restaurant’s philosophy. The discovery menu is designed as a surprising personal journey of discovery through different textures, flavours ingredients and pairings. It comprises approximately seven courses with additional snacks and treats.
